Chicago Business Trip
I went to Chicago on business back in November (I attended a Power Quality conference). The actual conference
was held at Navy Pier, right at downtown Chicago. My hotel was the Hyatt Regency on Wacker Dr, also downtown. I enjoyed both
the conference and my time in the Windy City (minimal wind while I was there). My only complaint would be that I didn't see
the sun the entire time I was there. I can stand that for three days, but not much longer.
This was actually my first time in a big city with skyscrapers like Chicago, and it was definitely different than sprawled out Phoenix, Arizona. Although I
spent most of my time at the conference, I was able to get out to Magnificent Mile a few times. As a result of this trip, Chicago is definitely a place I would like
to visit again someday.
