Heather and I went to a Jonathan Coulton concert last night and had a blast. Paul and Storm opened for JoCo and they also accompanied him on some of his songs. Those guys are a hoot and really put on a good show. I did a bit of recording, and I thought I would share my videos with you guys here.

When you just HAVE to play Guitar Hero, you now have the option of playing it online with nothing but a web browser and your keyboard. That's right, Activision has whored the GH license to yet another format (apparently PC, Mac, Xbox 360, PS3, PS2, Wii, and DS aren't enough...). I don't know whose bright idea it was to stream content for a rhythm game over an unpredictable internet connection, but it hasn't been implemented too well. Also, if you're used to playing GH with a... Guitar!, you're going to want to hold your keyboard in a pretty funky position. Perhaps they should have mapped the fret keys to the function keys at the top of the keyboard instead of 1-5. If you can't wait to play GH until you get home, I recommend holding out for Guitar Hero: On Tour for the Nintendo DS coming to the US on June 22, 2008. Although the web version does have one advantage: it's free.
